Walksnail Moonlight kit is a combination of camera, video transmitter and antenna for the Walksnail Avatar digital system. The Walksnail Avatar allows video transmission in full HD (1080p) or HD (720p) quality with low latency of even 22ms and high refresh rate of 60/120fps and data throughput of 25/50mbps. The Walksnail Avatar system supports Canvas mode, where you can render a classic full OSD into the image, just like you're used to in the analog world.
Walksnail Moonlight is also used for video transfer in addition to video playback. Moonlight can record video at 4K resolution at 60 frames per second. The camera uses a starlight sensor to provide good output even in lower light conditions. Moonlight supports EIS stabilization and also records gyro data so that the image can be easily stabilized in Gyroflow. For optimal images, the camera allows manual adjustment of ISO and shutter speed. Also included is an ND8 filter. The transmitter module has a slot for a SD card of up to 256GB.
The transmitter module uses two LHCP antennas connected via u.FL connector. For easy installation in the copter, the video transmitter has holes with a spacing of 25.5x25.5mm as well as 20x20mm M2. The camera is Micro size. It is connected to the video transmitter by a 14cm cable. The aspect ratio is switchable 4:3/16:9. The lens used is M12 2.1mm.
The video transmitter can be powered by 7.4-25.2V (2-6S). When directly powered by 6S batteries, a capacitor of at least 470uF/50V should be used at the input.
