Walksnail Avatar HD Goggles X are high-end FPV goggles designed for digital image transmission of Walksnail Avatar. Digital transmission Walksnail Avatar allows video transmission up to full HD (1080p) quality with low latency 22ms and high refresh rate
The image is displayed on two OLED displays with full HD 1080p resolution. OLED technology makes the image vivid and high contrast. The FOV 50° ensures a large and immersive image. Image sharpness is ensured by the adjustable IPD 57-72mm and diopter adjustment in the range of +2 to -6. Interchangeable lenses are also available. The goggles have a sensor that allows the displays to be turned off when you are not wearing the goggles. Walksnail Avatar goggles have an integrated receiver of digital transmission. The receiver has 4 RP-SMA connectors with LHCP omnidirectional antennas. The digital image can be recorded on a SD card of up to 256GB. The Walksnail Avatar system supports Canvas mode, in which a classic full OSD can be rendered into the image, as in the analog video world. The goggles stand out for their connectivity. The received image can be easily projected onto a TV thanks to the HDMI output. The goggles also have an HDMI input as well as a jack for analog video input. The goggles are powered via a classic coaxial DC connector 5.5/2.1mm with a voltage of 7-26V (2-6S).
The goggles include a bluetooth/wifi module to connect to the Walksnail app. The goggles have an easily accessible and replaceable receiving module for HD video. Walksnail is thus thinking ahead to the future and when the next generation of the Walksnail Avatar system is released, it will be enough to replace the receiving module and not the entire goggles. The front panel is also replaceable. The base includes LEDs for a unique look. Also worth mentioning is the ranging mode where the goggles estimate the distance of the drone. So you always have an idea of how far away you are, even without the need for a GPS module.
The goggles have an integrated heatsink for better heat dissipation from the receiver module.
