Vifly Finder V2 is a beeper with its own battery used primarily for finding a crashed drone. The classic version measures 22x16x13mm and weighs 5 grams. The beeper can be activated manually, via a switch on the radio and betaflight, via the PWM channel from the receiver, or it will start beeping automatically when the drive battery is removed. The beeper's own battery is used for this. It is recharged in flight from the FC, and the beeper is therefore completely maintenance-free.
Finder V2 contains a light sensor that affects its behavior. During the day, the drone beeps, and during the night, the LED will flash brightly. Finer V2 can automatically go into sleep mode during the night, when it stops flashing and beeping. It does not disturb the surroundings at night and does not waste the battery. So you can go on a rescue mission the next morning.
The main advantage of Vifly Finder is the possibility to turn it off. As with most finders/buzzers, the beep can be turned off by long-pressing the button. However, Vifly Finder can also be deactivated by reconnecting the Lipo battery for 3-6 seconds. So the beeper can be placed anywhere and you don't have to look for a hard-to-reach button.
The Vifly Finder can be controlled not only by a control unit, but also by a common PWM receiver used on model airplanes.
