The LST S2 OSD is a miniature camera with a video transmitter in one. This design is especially suitable for tinywhoopies, small EPP planes or wherever low weight is required. A big advantage are the cables for the camera and the video transmitter. It is thus easy to connect the OSD from the FC. If you don't want to use the OSD, you simply connect the cables. The basic linear antenna is connected via the u.FL connector and its replacement is thus very easy. The camera with video transmitter supports an input voltage of 3.6-5.5V. It can be powered from a 1S battery or a 5V BEC.
Channels, band and output format are switched with a button and indicated with LEDs. Power is a fixed 25mW. Short press the button to switch the channel (1-8). Pressing the button for more than 1.5s will switch the band (A-B-E-F-R) and pressing the button for more than 3s will change the standard (NTSC - blue LED is on, PAL - blue LED is off). The camera uses a 1/4" CMOS sensor with an M8 2.1mm lens. It has a wide 170° diagonal viewing angle and a noticeable fisheye. It is desirable to have air flowing around the video transmitter to cool it. The video transmitter gets very hot during operation. Never turn on transmitter without connected antenna.
