Readytosky APEX DC 5"

APEX DC 5" is a freestyle frame for 5" propellers. The frame has the front arms moved more to the back so that the no distracting propeller edges are visible in the FPV image. The Apex frame is unique in its stack mounting style. The screws holding the stack are recessed into the carbon and are only attached in the middle carbon plate, so they don't go through the bottom plate or the arms. This means that there is no need to remove the stack holding screws when replacing the shoulder, which makes servicing much easier. The frame can accommodate stacks with hole spacing 20x20mm and 30.5x30.5mm. The rear of the frame then has 20x20mm M2 mounting holes for easier attachment of the video transmitter. The camera is mounted in 3D printed inserts that are placed in the carbon sidewalls. A large number of 3D printed accessories are available for the frame, such as shoulder and bottom plate protectors, an antenna mount or a mount for the GoPro camera. The arms are cut from 5.5mm thick carbon and can accommodate both 16 and 19mm hole pitch motors.
