Activator/accelerator for cyanoacrylate adhesives in aerosol packaging. It is used to accelerate the curing of instant adhesives in conditions unfavourable to their natural curing (reaction with air moisture or water contained in the glued parts) in dry environments, in cold conditions, when gluing inactive materials or when applying a thick layer of adhesive. The product contains a proprietary polymerization activating component of the instant adhesive, solvents and propellant gas (propane/butane). For this reason it must not be used when bonding materials that are not resistant to organic solvents (e.g. polystyrene foam).

Use: The activator is applied from a distance of 20-25 cm on clean and dry surfaces, the optimum working temperature range is +10 °C to +30 °C. It can be applied in one of two basic ways:

  • Small parts: Apply the activator to one bonded surface and allow to dry (it remains active for several hours). Then apply the instant adhesive to the other mating surface and adhere the parts.
  • Large Parts: Apply the instant adhesive to one mating surface, press the parts together and spray the joint with activator.

Suitable for: cyanoacrylate adhesives when bonding organic solvent resistant materials.

Unsuitable for: polystyrene foam and other materials that are not resistant to organic solvents or elevated temperatures (accelerated polymerisation of the adhesive may release significant amounts of heat leading to heating of the bonded joint and its surroundings - the more adhesive used).

Storage: in a tightly sealed container, in a cool, dry and dark place (at +5 °C to +25 °C). Do not expose to temperatures below +2 °C.

Shelf life: under proper storage conditions, we guarantee a shelf life of 1 year in the unopened original packaging while maintaining the above product properties.

The product contains substances classified as hazardous within the meaning of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.
