Jumper Smart is a small and compact radio at an affordable price. The Jumper Smart is designed primarily for beginner pilots, but it is also useful as a second, smaller transmitter for tinywhoops. The transmitter runs on JumperTX firmware and is equipped with an integrated ELRS module. The transmission antenna is foldable, taking up minimal space.
The transmitter features hall gimbals, which are also used in other transmitters from Jumper. Additionally, it includes two rotary potentiometers, two switches, and four buttons. The Jumper Smart transmitter is powered by a single 18650 Li-ion battery (not included), which can be charged via a USB-C connector. The USB-C connector also serves for connecting to a simulator. The transmitter has a 2" IPS color display with a resolution of 320x240 pixels. This radio is not equipped with a slot for external transmission modules.
A major advantage of this radio is the mentioned integrated ELRS module. ExpressLRS (ELRS for short) is an open-source project, and both transmission and receiver modules are manufactured by multiple manufacturers. ELRS is currently one of the most advanced RC transmission systems. It offers a reliable long-range link, high refresh rate, adjustable power, Wi-Fi updates and more. ELRS on 2.4GHz outperforms traditional RC systems in all aspects while maintaining short antennas. The transmission power is limited to 100mW, which is more than sufficient for standard freestyle flying.
