iFlight DC5 Eco is an affordable freestyle 5-inch drone with digital video transmission, designed for outdoor flying, whether just for fun or for capturing action footage. The DC5 Eco is equipped with the FPV transmission system DJI O4 Pro, one of the best available. DJI O4 offers full HD video transmission at 100 frames per second, long range, low latency, and also supports onboard 4K recording. For more demanding video creators, the drone can easily carry a GoPro camera. The electronics at the drone’s core are protected by plastic side plates. The XT60 connector is securely mounted on the rear of the quadcopter, ensuring that battery cables won’t get caught in the propellers. The drone also features Anti-spark, which prevents sparks when connecting the battery during capacitor charging, extending the lifespan of the connectors.
As the name suggests, the DC5 is configured in the Deadcat layout. In this layout, the front arms are shifted backward and outward, ensuring that the propellers are not visible in the camera view. This enhances the flying experience and ensures that the 4K footage captured by the DJI O4 unit remains unobstructed.
The core of the quadcopter is a flight controller with an ATF435 processor, 16MB of blackbox memory, a DPS310 barometer for altitude measurement, and a BMI270 gyro. The second part of the stack is a 55A ESC running BlHeli_S firmware, which also includes a current sensor. The quadcopter is powered by iFlight Xing-E Pro 2207 1800Kv motors. Video transmission is handled by the DJI O4 unit.
Recommended batteries are 6S with a capacity of 1300-1500mAh.
The drone is supplied in the PNP configuration - without a receiver. Choose a receiver compatible with your RC transmitter. The drone can be paired with the DJI Controller 3.
