iFlight Chimera7 Pro V2

iFlight Chimera7 Pro V2 is the second generation of the frame designed for 7,5" propellers. This gives it a bit more thrust than the classic 7". It can thus be very well used not only as a frame for building long-range copters, but also as a larger platform for shooting and carrying heavier cameras or multiple GoPro cameras at the same time. 

The iFlight Chimera is a fairly large and massive frame. It uses durable 6mm thick arms for maximum rigidity and vibration elimination. The long body allows the HD camera and larger battery to fit comfortably on the top plate. The XT60 connector is mounted tight in a 3D print on the back of the drone. The battery cables thus have no chance to stick to the propellers. The frame can accommodate motors with both 16 and 19mm mounting holes. We recommend size 2806-2809.

The frame is unique in the accessories that are available for it. These are primarily plastic sidewalls that protect sensitive electronics from dirt. The sidewalls also have glow strips embedded in them for a unique look.

The frame is also compatible with the DJI O3 HD transmission in version 2. The frame includes a longer cable for connecting the video transmitter and camera as well as a aluminum heat sink for better heat dissipation from the O3 unit. Also included is a pair of pigtails for the antennas from the DJI O3. The DJI O3 camera is mounted in a silicone insert that helps absorb vibrations for the best video.
