HSKRC APEX 5" HD

APEX 5" HD is a freestyle frame for 5" propellers. The frame is in an X-shape where the motors are positioned symmetrically to the center plane of the frame, which has a positive impact on flight characteristics. The Apex frame is unique in its stack mounting style. The bolts holding the stack are recessed into the carbon and are only attached to the center carbon plate, so they don't go through the bottom plate or the arms. This means that there is no need to remove the stack holding screws when replacing the arms, which makes servicing much easier. The frame can accommodate stacks with a hole spacing of 20x20mm and 30.5x30.5mm. The rear of the frame then features 20x20mm M2 mounting holes for easier attachment of the video transmitter. The arms are cut from 5.5mm thick carbon and can accommodate both 16 and 19mm hole pitch motors. Also included is a set of 3D-printed parts containing motor pads for landing or motor cable protectors. The HD version has a slightly extended rear section to accommodate larger video transmitters. The frame can be used to build drones with both analog and digital video transmission.
