HGLRC Talon is a 2" frame designed for a small cinewhoop drone. The frame is built with durability in mind, using a combination of injection-molded plastic protective ducts and a 2mm thick carbon fiber plate. The plastic components not only protect the propellers but also form a strong and integrated frame structure, minimizing vibrations and ensuring a more stable flight.
A key feature of the design is the separation of different frame sections – the propulsion system, flight controller, and video transmission module are structurally independent, allowing for easier component replacement or modifications. The frame includes mounting holes for AIO boards with a 25.5x25.5mm pattern, and for video transmitters with 20x20mm and 25.5x25.5mm patterns. The motor mounts support 9mm M2 mounting. The package includes an aluminum heatsink for improved heat dissipation from the video transmitter. The frame supports cameras with a size of 19-20mm. To reduce vibrations and ensure a stable image, silicone dampening pads are provided. The frame also comes with an antenna mount and pre-installed LED lighting integrated into the protective ducts.
