HDZero BoxPro+

HDZero BoxPro+ are high-end box-style FPV goggles packed with features. The goggles include a built-in receiver for both HDZero and analog video transmission. They are also equipped with a 100 Hz HDMI input for connecting to other digital systems.

The goggles use a 100 Hz LCD display with a brightness of 1800 nits and offer a large 54° field of view (FOV). They are wide enough to be worn over glasses. HDZero also offers optional custom diopter lenses. The BoxPro+ comes with four antennas for HDZero reception. Two antennas connect via SMA connectors on top, and two integrated 7 dBi directional antennas are built into the front. The left antenna is shared for both HDZero and the analog receiver, which features a 2D deinterlacer for sharper image quality.

The built-in DVR module allows video recording to an SD card. DVR supports recording HDZero, analog, and HDMI input using H.265 encoding. It supports both automatic and manual recording. Audio can be recorded from the built-in microphone or an external mic connected to the goggles. Power is supplied via a standard DC connector, with a voltage range of 2–6S. Cooling and anti-fog protection are handled by a fan with adjustable speed.

The BoxPro+ includes both mini HDMI input and output for external screen display. There is also a 3.5 mm jack for analog video input from an external receiver and a 3.5 mm jack for head tracking output.

Compared to the regular BoxPro, the BoxPro+ adds a built-in ELRS Backpack and WiFi module. The ELRS Backpack can sync with the transmitter’s backpack, allowing channel switching on both the drone and goggles simultaneously from the RC transmitter. It also enables DVR recording control and wireless headtracking via the transmitter. The WiFi module supports wireless video streaming to a phone or computer.
