The Geprc Vapor D6 is a freestyle frame designed for 6" propellers. Compared to a standard 5", it allows for building a more powerful drone suitable for carrying HD cameras such as GoPro or using a larger battery to extend flight time. The frame features arms positioned further back, which eliminates the disruptive propeller edges from the video frame. This is especially appreciated by users of digital video transmission systems, as the camera can also be used for recording. The arms are made from 5mm thick carbon fiber, ensuring high durability, and can be easily replaced by loosening two screws. The camera is mounted on aluminum side plates with rubber inserts, which help minimize vibrations transferred to the camera. The central section of the drone has mounting holes for 20x20mm and 30.5x30.5mm stacks. The rear section provides space for either an analog or digital video transmitter, with mounting holes available in 20x20mm, 25x25mm, and 30.5x30.5mm configurations for easy installation. The frame weighs approximately 204 grams. The package includes LiPo straps, a battery pad, and 3D-printed parts, including a GoPro camera mount.
