The Flyfish Volador VX3 is a precisely crafted freestyle frame for 3" propellers. The frame uses a Squashed X configuration, where the front and rear arms are identical thanks to the X layout. This symmetrical design supports excellent flight characteristics. The frame is compatible with the DJI O4 Pro unit, analog video transmission, as well as the Walksnail Avatar system.
The frame is cut from premium T700 carbon fiber, which offers higher strength than the commonly used T300 carbon. The arms are made from 3.5mm thick carbon fiber, increasing durability in crashes and reducing vibration transmission from the motors to the flight controller. The frame is exceptionally well finished – edges are chamfered to prevent cables from being cut by sharp edges. The camera is protected by a metal mount made from durable 7075 aluminum alloy, commonly used for high-quality drone motors. The camera sits in a silicone insert that absorbs vibrations and improves video quality. The frame includes various 3D prints such as arm guards, a GoPro mount, and antenna holders. A silicone pad on the top plate increases friction between the frame and the battery, helping to prevent battery ejection during crashes.
The frame features M2 mounting holes for 20x20mm and 25.5x25.5mm stacks. There is also space in the rear section for a second stack with 20x20mm or 25.5x25.5mm M2 mounting.
