FlyfishRC Atlas 4 is a small 4" frame suitable for building a micro long-range or lightweight freestyle drone. The frame is in deadcat configuration, where the front arms are moved more to the side and back, so the propellers are not visible in HD footage or FPV video. This will be especially appreciated by users of digital HD transmissions.
Altas 4 weighs 55 grams, including 3D printed parts. These are included in the package and are also available for download and thingiverse. As with other Flyfish frames, the Atlas 4 has the camera protected by side plates made from durable 7075 aluminum alloy. The camera itself is then held in a silicone insert that absorbs vibrations to help make for better video. The carbon used is Toray T700, which has better strength than the commonly used carbon (T300).The XT30 connector can be classically on the cable or fixed in 3D printing on the back of the frame.
The frame has M2 mounting holes for 20x20mm and 25.5x25.5mm stacks. There is room for a second stack in the back of the frame. The frame can accommodate an analog transmission as well as Caddx Vista, Walksnail Avatar or DJI O3. Motors with both 9mm and 12mm M2 holes can be used.
