AOS 5 EVO V1.2 O3 - 6S PNP

The AOS 5 EVO was developed by FPV youtuber Chris Rosser, who is best known for testing drone parts. AOS frames are developed based on blackbox data and simulations of vibration and resonant frequencies. Each part of the frame has been optimized to shift the resonant frequencies above the frequency of the motors. As a result, less vibration goes into the controller, less filtering is needed, and it is possible to raise the PID controller values, which improves flight performance and minimizes propwash.

The AOS 5 drone is suitable for aggressive freestyle and cinematic flights with HD camera. For high durability, the frame uses 6mm thick carbon fiber arms. There are cutouts in the top plate for attaching the Lipo battery using two straps. The frame arms have a unique T-shape. This shape increases their rigidity and contributes to the aforementioned shift in resonant frequencies. The ends of the arms then help to protect the motor in the event of an impact. The camera is mounted in carbon sidewalls that protect the camera.  

The basis of the drone is the iFlight Blitz F7 Mini stack. Flight controller with a powerful F722 processor, 8MB blackbox memory, barometer for altitude measurement and BMI270 gyro. The second part of the stack is a ESC with modern BlHeli_32 firmware. This can be powered by 2-6S batteries and supports 55A current. The ESC also includes a current sensor. The drone is powered by iFlight Xing2 2207 1750Kv motors. The transmission of digital HD video is handled by a high-end DJI O3.  The drone uses Anti-spark. This prevents the battery from skipping a spark when the capacitors are connected while charging and increases the life of the connectors. Recommended batteries are 6S with a capacity of 1300-1500mAh.

The drone comes in a PNP variant - without a receiver. Can be used with the DJI Controller or choose the receiver according to your RC radio.
